Since travelling is not really an option at the moment, I’m using the days to explore the neighbourhood and try out some macro and “product-photography” style stuff. Some of this is a welcome opportunity to explore new shooting styles and compare the output of my two current cameras – the Leica X Vario and my new Fujifilm XF10. I’m quite happy with the Fujifilm XF10. It’s a tiny fixed-lens APS-C cam that has its quirks but produces beautiful, warm photos – yet it’s smaller than many other compact cameras.
