Finally… travelling again for the first time after more than four months, this time for a short weekend break in Innsbruck. We were quite lucky with the weather, and picked the only two sunny days within the last weeks…
My travel tip for Innsbruck:
Take the Nordkettenbahn up to the mountain top. The ride starts with a super-futuristic cable-car-turned-subway (designed by Zaha Hadid) in the middle of the city at the Congress centre, and takes no more than half an hour if you are in a hurry. You have to change cable cars twice and it’s not cheap, but you will be rewarded with some amazing views over the city and the whole Inn valley.
