Southern Bavaria
Right after the borders reopened in May, we went for a short trip to neighbouring Bavaria and for seeing friends and family. The hilly countryside of Southern Bavaria makes for some beautiful scenery, especially in spring and the small cities with their pitoresque old baroque houses and churches are a change from larger cities.

Regensburg
Regensburg is the fourth largest city in Bavaria and stems back to pre-Roman times. The medieval cathedral, stone bridge and city hall are well worth a visit and represent a time when Regensburg was one of the power centres of the Holy Roman Empire.
